Full Day Workshops
Using the magic of Pal Tiya Premium, learn to make sculptures that will last outdoors in all weather conditions. And, at the end of this one-day class, you can take your sculpture home with you!
It’s an incredible and fun product.
In these 1-day workshops, you will learn to sculpt with foil and a glue gun to build your form, before adding the Pal Tiya Premium clay and sculpting your details. Then, at the end of this class, you can take your masterpiece home with you! Your sculpture will last outdoors in all weather conditions.
If any workshops aren’t available to book, feel free to email us to register your interest in the next one. We often choose which theme to do next based on requests.

- Air cures to harder than concrete!
- Has been extensively free/thaw tested!
- You can build small or large sculptures using just tinfoil and cardboard as your core!
Suitable for beginners or more experienced sculptors who want to try this new material.

Booking a Pal Tiya Sculpture Workshop
We run the full-day Pal Tiya Sculpture Workshop throughout the year, with a theme selected in advance.
Dates will be announced periodically so make sure you check back, follow our socials, or sign up for The Shire Workshops Newsletter to receive the latest availability.
Pal Tiya Sculpture Workshops run from 10am – 4pm and cost £120 per person.
Tree Stump Planters
Learn to make a Tree Stump Planter by building your form around a plant pot. We will teach you how to sculpt bark texture, roots, mushrooms and even bring your planter to life with a door and a face.
Dragons!
Learn to make a Dragon sculpture by building your form with a tinfoil and wire armature. We will teach you how to pose your dragon and give it plenty of attitude, or make it look cute and harmless.
Green Man
Learn to make a Greenman to keep watch over your garden. We will teach you how to sculpt a face with any expression you like and combine it with sculpted leafy foliage to create your very own Green Man sculpture.
Tree Ent
A new theme for 2025. If you’re not sure what a Tree Ent is, they’re like the Tree people from Lord of the Rings. A Google search will show you lots of images. These are great fun to make.
Refund Policy
Please note the following before you book
If you need to cancel a booking we can give you a full refund with 30 days’ notice before the event. If less than 30 days we can provide a refund only if we can find a replacement for your place. If we can’t find a replacement to offer you a refund, we will keep your details and offer you a place on another course/day if it doesn’t fill up within 2 days of the start date. Or, we can give you the amount as a credit/voucher to be used as un-tutored workshop time.
