8-week Sculpture Course

This is an 8-week sculpture course that runs alongside our 8-week pottery course.

Both 8-week courses £200, after completing the initial 8-weeks, the price drops to £160. Plus a materials and firing cost for anything you decide you would like to have fired and take home, calculated by weight. This keeps costs down for those who just want to learn skills without taking pieces home.

The workshop is taught by Helen Lopez and focuses on creating animal sculptures. We will use pottery clay for this course.

Throughout the 2-hour x 8-week course (Generally on Fridays, 16:30~18:30 slot), you’ll learn about bone and muscle structure, explore different skin and fur textures, and practice building sculptures using various types of armatures.

Each course has a different theme — so far, we’ve created Animals of Africa and Animals of Australia. The class is small, with a maximum of 5 students, allowing for plenty of individual attention.

No experience is required — Helen will guide you step by step!!

1-full-day Sculpture Workshops

These incredible and fun workshops are usually held on Sundays (non-regular event). Using the magic of Pal Tiya Premium clay, learn to make sculptures that will last outdoors in all weather conditions. No-firing required so you can take it home at the end of the day. You may apply colors to the cured piece at home!

We run this workshop throughout the year. Dates will be announced periodically on our website and social media (Facebook, Instagram), or sign up for our Newsletter (At the bottom of the page) to receive the latest availability.

You will learn to sculpt with foil and a glue gun to build your form, before adding the clay and sculpting your details. At the end of this class, you can take your masterpiece home with you! Suitable for both beginners and more experienced sculptors who want to try this new material.

No experience needed! Everyone has to start somewhere, right? Come join us to get messy and create a one-of-a-kind piece that only YOU can make!

Tree Stump Planters

Learn to make a Tree Stump Planter by building your form around a plant pot. We will teach you how to sculpt bark texture, roots, mushrooms and even bring your planter to life with a door and a face.

Dragons

Learn to make a Dragon sculpture by building your form with a tinfoil and wire armature. We will teach you how to pose your dragon and give it plenty of attitude, or make it look cute and harmless.

Green Man

Learn to make a Greenman to keep watch over your garden. We will teach you how to sculpt a face with any expression you like and combine it with sculpted leafy foliage to create your very own Green Man sculpture.

Tree Ent

A new theme for 2025. If you’re not sure what a Tree Ent is, they’re like the Tree people from Lord of the Rings. A Google search will show you lots of images. These are great fun to make.

Permanent Pumpkin

Every year as Halloween approaches, we run our popular Pumpkin Workshop! Come and create your own cute, scary, angry, or happy pumpkin that can sit outside throughout the Halloween season.
